Blue Topaz

There are three type of Blue Topaz. Sky Blue, Swiss Blue and London Blue and they all have a striking vitreous lustre.

The ancient Greeks believed that Topaz was a powerful stone that could increase the strength of the wearer and provide invisibility in desperate times.

Rhodolite

Rhodolite is a form of Garnet and is a beautiful red rose colour with a hint of pink. The origin of the name is from the Greek word, "rhodon", meaning rose, alluding to its colour. 

Garnet gemstones, including Rhodolite, are not enhanced, and their colours are always natural.

Localities: Tanzania, Mozambique, Sri Lanka, Brazil and the US

Citrine

Citrine is variety of Quartz and ranges from a pale gold to a deep honey colour. 

The name Citrine is derived from the citron fruit, a yellow fruit similar to the lemon. Virtually all Citrine is not naturally coloured and is heat treated.

Lemon Quartz

Lemon Quartz is a type of yellow Quartz with green undertones. Its colour can range from pale to vibrant lemon, and is sometimes referred to as Green Gold.

 The colour yellow is associated with clarity, communication and happiness and Lemon Quartz is believed to help balance and strengthen these aspects.

 Localities: Brazil, Arizona, Africa, Canada

Prasiolite

Prasiolite sometimes known as Green Amethyst is a green form of Quartz. Its colour is incredibly beautiful and ranges from a very pale green to a slightly deeper sage green.

The name is derived from Greek prason meaning "leek" and lithos meaning "stone."

Localities: Brazil, Poland, Namibia and Canada

Amethyst

Amethyst is a type of Quartz which has been worn for thousands of years. Its colour ranges from a light pinkish violet to a deep purple. 

The Greeks believed Amethyst could prevent intoxication and it is also said to protect the wearer against seduction.

Localities: Brazil, Bolivia, India, Madagascar, Namibia, Sri Lanka, Zambia 

Rose Quartz

Rose Quartz ranges from a very light pink to a medium to dark pink. 

It owes its cloudy translucence to microscopic mineral inclusions.

Rose Quartz is said to carry a soft feminine energy of compassion and peace, tenderness, healing and nourishment and comfort.
